Beautiful historic house. Very natural and relaxed. Breakfast excellent.

Nothing particularly but clients should be aware there are stairs up to the rooms, which anyone with mobility issues might find an obstacle.

The bed was very comfortable, room was lovely.

parking was awkward as I was in a ford ranger, but for a normal sized car there would be no problems.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house has all the charm of a traditional English home, and our room was cosy and comfortable, with a fantastic bed, en suite shower, and a walk-in wardrobe. The fresh air meant we slept very well and woke up feeling well rested on both nights of our stay. The location is peaceful and quiet, with convenient parking available for guests. It’s also very pet-friendly. The full English breakfast was excellent and generous in portion, so we even skipped lunch afterwards. Julie is a wonderful host; she made us feel truly welcome, and we very much enjoyed our conversations with her.
