Skott's Comfy Lodge

My wife and I booked into Skott’s Comfy Lodge from Dec 22nd to Jan 3rd. We liked it so much we have decided to stay an additional three weeks. If you like quiet, an exceptionally clean place, and welcoming staff, this is the place for you. Virginia (owner)has gone out of her way to make us feel comfortable and even invited us to partake in New Years celebrations with her family. The beach is a five minute walk and scooter rental can be arranged. The wifi is also exceptionally good as STARLINK has just been installed. Wifi speeds are now regularly over 120 Mps. This is a great place for both short or long term rentals if you are looking for a quiet place to chill away from the traffic and noise. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and would not hesitate to return if we ever returned to Bantayan Island. Dan and Grace. Canada

Not much to complain about.

The owner and staff are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, your partner can move around, and you don't notice at all. Aircon is perfect, water is hot and plentiful. The entire place is very clean and keep up daily. The breakfast is very nice and is enjoyed on the covered front porch. The short walk to the beautiful beach also takes you past, and to, other resorts with multiple dining options. The location, which is a little hard to find at first, is close to the port and Santa Fe. The walls are solid concrete making is very quiet in the room. Many activities as close as next door. We went island hopping and really enjoyed lunch on the virgin island.

The only negative was the terrible Wi-Fi, but I do believe by the time this review is posted the Starlink will be installed to correct that issue. I sat next to the equipment boxes as I used my laptop in the office where the owner allowed me to hardwire connect to her internet.

The comfort, excellent staff, and Mrs. Virginia’s outstanding service surely contributed to a positive experience.

Walkable to Santa Fe beach. Everything was new, with a large room, large bed, refrigerator and hair dryer were a plus! Staff accommodated request for early check-in asap.

The bathroom was a bit tight, considering I'm a small person. Once shower is turned on, water splashes directly toward the toilet even if I tried changing angles. The water pools, and you'll need to keep changing the floor mat if you're iffy about it. The ceiling light placements are weird. I wish the ceiling lights were warmer. Fluorescent lights just change the overall feel of the room and warmer lights could have helped made it comfier. The blanket was very thin (it's a matter of personal preference). I just prefer a thicker or weightier blanket for comfort with great air-conditioning 😅 Cigarette smoke gets inside the room despite the closed door and windows. Experienced this 2 days straight and this came from the room beside ours (and the smoker was on his veranda).

It's a very nice and clean place to stay in! The staff very very kind and helpful. Anna and Jerome are always there to help you whatever you ask them for. On a scale 1to10 I will give them 11! Thank you guys for everything! 🙏

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is close to both the beach and the town, and very peaceful. The room was spacious, quiet and clean — very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful

There was no breakfast, staff said that I didn't sign up for vip. So no breakfast I didn't know there was choices for vip and nip.

No parking, Location: nobody knows where the place was. We were asking the neighbors the tricycle drivers nobody know where it was. We were driving around til later, we finally found the little tiny sign of Skott's lodge..
