Very clean and comfortable rooms, staff were friendly and helpful

A vibrant local pub with fantastic service and a welcoming attitude. The room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed. The location is perfect, and parking available, I've already rebooked.

Cleanliness was very poor. Beds really too soft. Door to room not very secure.

Doors do not lock It’s above a very loud and busy pub - while the pub is open you will not be able to sleep. The music was so life the walls and floor vibrate 😅

Debris on floor behind tea and coffee chest. Toilet seat only fixed on one side so loose

The bed was comfortable. And the hotel was in a good place.

The toilet had a broken flush unit, they said they would repair that afternoon. They didn’t repair it, so we couldn’t use it. Which was very inconvenient

Toilet flush was broken, toilet door didn’t close. Shower tiles full of mildew. Toenail clipping on carpet.Dresser top dirty with tea cup stains. Unable to sleep before 12.15am due to VERY LOUD music from downstairs.

The bed was comfy, I slept really well. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing. The Eagle and Child is in a brilliant location for bus travel to Blackpool or Lancaster or Preston. The local shops and boutiques are full of local produce.

Heating were broken but they were doing everything to sort it out. We got by . No fault of theirs and would stay again . Rooms basic but fine for the price
