River Side Cabin with Hot tub Snowdonia

Cute property near Barmouth, couldn’t fault it at all.

This little cabin is magical! Hotub is amazing to use right next to the river, very relaxing and perfect!

Lights outside didn’t work

A few things that seem to crop up in reviews The dogs - we met one of the dogs on arrival he was friendly. I’m not massively confident with dogs so we put the bolt on the gate and saw no more of the dogs. No problem The tub - it is a 2 seater tub but it’s nice and deep and a lovely temperature. The cover has seen better days but does still work - tub was still a toasty 40’degrees when we got up. The towel rail - we were told on arrival that it has been switched off so it wasn’t heating the whole pod all night which from reviews appears a common complaint The pod itself is very private fenced all around. The tub backs on to the river which gives it a lovely peaceful setting. In terms of the kitchen there is a good sized fridge, single portable stove top and kettle with coffee/tea supplies. Shower in the bathroom is decent Thank you Ally we loved our stay here and sure we will be back later in the summer

Property was quiet and private.

It got very warm with the towel rail heater being on permanently . The dogs were friendly , however one dog can open the door if the door is not left locked. I think that’s why the clean duvet cover was covered in black hairs.

Really cosy place in a lovely location!

We couldn't get the TV to work, no matter what we tried. If there's a TV, I would expect it to be functional.

It was a lovely stay up until I woke the next morning to find my pillow was covered in mould on the side that wasn’t on show. I contacted the property regarding this and no response. I have since had a response from booking.com to say the property basically weren’t bothered about this so I have paid £100 to sleep on a mouldy pillow all night, I left the pillow face up on the bed with the mouldy pillow case next to it, sent photos and I haven’t even gotten so much as an apology from them. So then likelihood is they’ve just put a new pillowcase on for the next customers to sleep with a mouldy pillow.

Lovely little pod, the hot tub was fantastic and the area is stunning we would definitely go back!

Absolutely lovely, it’s all private and closed off, there is two dogs witch can get into the back where the hot tub is is in the cabin but they’re friendly, easy to find
