River Side Cabin with Hot tub Snowdonia

no fire pit area as described, no outdoor lighting, not completely secure so farmers dogs got into hut area after our bbq, so which meant my dog had to be kept leashed also

The pod had everything we needed and was in a perfect location - private, scenic and by the river. Great support from the hosts. The hot tub was a massive bonus and all set up ready to use.

Great cozy place hidden away. So peaceful and close to all attractions.

Lovely relaxing location, not far away from either town. Hot tub was perfect especially in the later hours when it was dark. Very relaxing stay.

Towel rail was on all night which made it a bit warm for the time of year we went but opened a window to combat it.

Very nice and cosy place to stay, clean cabin and hot tub. River running right beside the jacuzzi and very private. The hot tub will possibly bleach your clothes, but this is to be expected as hot tubs require chlorine tablets to keep the water and the system clean and functional. The tub is smaller than some of the pictures on booking.com, the tub is only for 2 people and not a family size, but the cabin is only sizable for 2 adults in my opinion so it wasn't as issue for us. Yes there is a camera on an adjacent property which I believe is owned by the property manager, but it is not functioning and doesn't look directly at you, and even if it did, it wouldn't see much at all due to the angle of the cabin and it's roof. Location is really close for hiking trails and is only 15 mins drive from Barmouth seaside, 2-3 mins walk from the small local pubs/bars, independent food outlets and takeaways. We were allowed a BBQ at the cabin which I was slightly surprised by due to it having wood decking, but we had a travel BBQ with legs (if you have a throw away after use BBQ, there are bricks under the decking you could use to place it on👌) Honestly a great experience and would happily go here again if it was available, but seems to be fully booked each time I look. Great for a couple of any age, young or more mature.

The weather was quite warm when we visited, and we were advised by the property manager to keep the doors/windows closed during the evening/night times (only when you have the lights or the TV turned on) due to flies and wildlife being attracted to the lights etc. we followed this advice and it worked great, but due to the heat we had to keep the window by the bed open, so my only advice for the owner would be to install a fly screen on the outer window frame of this window as it opens inwards anyways. it would really be a good thing to have, especially during hot nights. Other than that we loved our stay and hope to visit again👌😎
