Staying here made me feel like I'd failed at life

Looks nothing like the pictures, really filthy dirty sheets sharing a toilet with 4 men. Scary

It was a convenient for me because I went to a concert close by. It was inexpensive which is great news. Thanks.

Most definitely not being given my entry details at the specific time I was meant to receive them which should have been 4pm. I spent a lot of time trying to get a hold of somebody to send me the details I needed to get in the place. It was quite frustrating. After about 1/2 an hour I gave up and went back to my car to get changed to go to a concert near by. I wanted a bath etc before going. Anyway the details were sent to me at 5.30pm which seriously was, under the circumstances very late.

The man in charge was very clear and helpful. The room is very clean. And it is in a very pleasant neighbourhood. You reach everything by foot. All in all it was a pleasant stay. Kitchen fully equipped. Bathroom very clean. We had a good time

The service was unacceptable for the following reasons: 1/ The address was very difficult to find, with very unclear instructions, given that many of the blocks in the area are called Jupiter House. 2/ The method for outer door release into the block, when I found the block, did not work. I had to wait until another resident let me in after I had explained the situation to him. It is not a fair expectation of either myself of other residents that this should be done. Had i arrived later, with less residents around, I would have been stranded. Attempts to call the number provided via booking.com were unsuccessful. 3/ While the room was basic and clean, there was only a small handtowel, which is not in keeping with normal service. 4/ There was no toilet paper available. This is a standard expectation of any room let through booking.com 5/ Bins in the kitchen area were stuffed to overflowing, and there were dirty glasses round, even though there was nobody else staying in the other two bedrooms in the flat. 6/ Attempts via email to address these matters after my stay met with no response.

Other guests came in at 4am and the walls are made of paper, so it was very noisy.

The landlord did not answer my calls or contact me at all on the day. I was not able to access any code and had to find elsewhere to stay.
