Location

Except for the kitchen everything was dated. The cottage could use some renovation. There was mold in the bathroom and the carpets were very old and stained.

A lovely cottage in the perfect location just minutes from the centre of Castleton. Clean and tidy and the beds were so comfy. Clear instructions for everything we required. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

"Great place, would stay again."

Fabulous little cottage with parking space about 80 yards away which is good dust when it’s busy here. Clean and warm and easy to check in and out with no horrendous AirBnB rules and cleaning fees. Loved our couple of days here. The only downside - not enough teabags for some serious tea drinkers - but that’s hardly a complaint considering they are complimentary!

There is no garden apart from a small space with a bench at the front but as we were here to be in the hills this wasn’t an issue.
