The Farm Shop

What a magic place! It combines the welcoming warm feeling of a family farm with the stylish interior and exquisite food of a boutique hotel. It is indeed both. The hosts, Ulf and Usia welcome their guests in English, German, Afrikaans and Oshivambo. They do indeed run a small farm where they grow fruits and vegetables and also have farm animals. Some of that exquisite produce finds its way in the ingredients of the dinners and breakfasts they prepare for their guests. The home baked bread was fantastic, as well as all the other food. Great care was taken to offer local products, like a good dry red wine from a Namibian vineyard in the area. The rooms were tastefully decorated and spotless clean. It was a very good experience to stay there, and I am grateful to Ulf and Usia for making me feel at home in their lovely place!

Sehr schöne Farm, mit richtig viel Gemüse und Obst - ein Traum, nicht nur nach 2 Wochen Namibia. Endlich konnte man sich auch mal frei bewegen, spazierengehen und sogar joggen. Das Essen war äußrst lecker, die Preise absolut fair. Es gibt ein paar große Hunde, die aber friedlich sind. Die Nutztiere hört man im Hintergrund - uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört. Es hat auch nicht nach Bauernhof gerochen. Ein echter Luxus war das sehr gute Trinkwasser.

Un acceuil exceptionnel de la part des proprietaires! Un lieu insolite sous un ficus centenaire, un salon d'un amateur d'art et la cuisine sans concurrence :-) Nous avons adore!
