Ulf und seine Frau haben sich rührend um mich gekümmert. Hab mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Sehr viel selbstgemachtes von der farm zu essen, absoluter Genuss und sehr empfehlenswert. Ich fand es klasse dort, schöner und besser geht's nicht. Absolut spitze Danke nochmals an Ulf und Usia LG Christian

Tolles Personal, sehr leckeres Abendessen und Frühstück, mit vielen Produkten aus eigenem Anbau. Sehr familiäres und persönliches Flair.

Kein Mückenschutz in unserem Zimmer, weder am Fenster noch am Bett. Ausstattung war sauber, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We really enjoyed our stay a the Farm Shop. It's a bit quirky. If you are looking for a unique experience,  being treated in a very personal way and enjoy amazing food, this is the place for you. The owner, Ulf, a German married to a Namibian woman, takes his time to engage with his guests. The food was outstanding,. Both the dinner and the breakfast were the best we had in Namibia. Most of the food is from their own farm or from neighbouring farms.  The large main dining room is traditionally thatched and both elegant and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. 

It's a working farm with animals that can be a it noisy at times. The room was a bit run down. If you are looking for a slick modern place, this is not for you.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Sehr gutes Essen mit regionalen oder eigens angebauten Produkten. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme und persönliche Atmosphäre durch die beiden Besitzer.

Manche Gäste störte der krähende Hahn 😉. Eine kleine Lampe am Bett zum Lesen wäre noch super!

Sehr sauber, neu eingerichtete Zimmer. Ein sehr schönes Bad mit einer tollen Dusche. Sehr hervorragend war das Frühstück und Abendessen mit regionalen und selbst auf der Farm produzierten Produkten. Auch der lokale Wein war köstlich. Und die beiden sehr gastfreundlichen Besitzer sind natürlich nicht zu vergessen.

"Lovely stay at The Farm Shop Grootfontein"

The hosts were exceptionally hospitable and polite. The food was impeccable, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

The gravel road is expected, considering it is a farm. The place was delightful, and it is difficult to find any faults with it.
