Canvas Bristol

Comfortable double bed; small but well-equipped studio; a chilled vibe; very friendly, helpful staff; a reasonably priced laundry room; available tea and coffee; facilities such as table tennis, a pool table and a quiet room for work or study; proximity to transport hubs ie bus & coach station five minutes away; Temple Meads railway station a 20 minute walk; some app-based parking available outside Canvas; a five minute walk to all the shops, cafe and restaurants in central Bristol; a three minute walk to two convenience stores in Stokes Croft.

Canvas is in inner city Bristol, a mixture of the commercial, the rough and the newly gentified, with a visible drug problem in the local park so best to be aware of your surroundings. As it is student accomodation and has no utensils, pots or pans, or cups or plates at all, it would be helpful to let summer guests know what is available immediately on arrival. In our case, we had to asked the first night for kitchenware, which reception found for us. Overall, this was a minor issue and easily solved. We would very happily return to Canvas next summer.

Que en muy poco espacio tienes de todo, baño bien, cocina pequeña sin utensilios, armario y cama canapé. Tienen zona de juegos, gimnasio y lavanderia. El personal tiene buen trato y son amables.

Espacios comunes muy muy sucios, cama muy pequeña para dos personas, NO UTENSILIOS de cocina, no muy lejos del centro pero el barrio estaba lleno de personas en las calles en estado muy afectados, aun asi no se acercaban y no se sentia inseguro. La foto de la habitación no se correspondia. Nos dieron una mas pequeña, de hecho la venden como individual.

Un bon lloc, ordenat, net i ben situat. A prop del centre i a 5 minuts a peu de Stokes Croft, la zona de graffiti on hi ha una de les obres més conegudes de Banksy. Una estada agradable. Recomenable

Dust Bin and TV weren't available in my room..

The location was decent

It was filthy. There was a box with half eaten pizza in the community space for three days, the kitchen in our apartment space was full of half eaten food, encrusted cookware, bin bags that smelled horribly (my clothes still smell). It was awful. Also, booking said there was gonna be hairdryers. There were none

Very nice and helpful staff, the room was also nice and clean, having an own little fridge was lovely

The sound of a chainsaw at 7:30am was a bit unexpected, but I guess it was not the accomodations fault
