Small bed

Room was lovely, clean and spacious. We had everything required for a comfortable stay. Kitchen on the landing was spotless and very well equipped. Owner met us at the property and was very welcoming. I was in Newcastle to visit a relative who had had a serious operation and the owner even sent me a very thoughtful text even though we had only just met.

It was a great centrally located property , well refurbished but still historically interesting. Nothing to criticise.

Great location, smooth check in process. The room was spacious and the kitchen was very clean and modern.

The en suite bathroom was clean, but had mould on the ceiling and a strong unpleasant smell. We had to buy an air freshener but the smell was very persistent.

The room was neat and clean. Justin was extremely helpful and made our check-in easy. He carried our bags up the flights of stairs.

The car park is not close to the room; be aware that you need to walk a way, uphill from the carpark. Luckily for us, Justin helped us. The room was very cold; thank goodness Justin gave us blow heater. The bed is tiny; so sharing with another was a little tight.
