"The sweetest hosts!"

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Cosy Alpine Cottage. Julie, the host, informed us that the boiler wasn’t working ahead of the stay and gave us the option to either cancel or use an alternative bathroom in the main house. We decided to continue with the stay. But She went out of her way to organise a generous & very tasteful gift hamper and even allowed us a late check out as well. She more than made up for the boiler problem and we actually didn’t feel inconvenienced at all with the alternative bathroom arrangement. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and there are charming details in every corner. We would highly recommend this place if you are visiting the Lake District or surrounding area.

"Lovely little lodge - would definitely stay again."

Location was lovely but also ideal for where I was working. Room was comfortable and well decorated. Lodge layout was really well thought out. Everything within the property was to a high standard.

WiFi was poor. However, this only mattered as I was staying for business and certainly wasn't a show stopper.

"Immaculate with the perfect location"

The location and where it was situated on the property was outstanding! One side you have a view of the creek running through and the other side is the canal so the views are outstanding wherever you are in the property. The living space is upstairs and was equipped for any persons needs and was decorated beautifully and comfort was certainly accounted for. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs and the master has French doors out to the creek, which is nice.

The only issue was the master bedroom mattress. I can only describe it as a mattress topper more than a mattress, as it was so thin and uncomfortable. Other than that, the cottage was outstanding!

"Would definately stay again just for the peace and the stream running right past the bedroom patio"

Beautiful clean cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We booked at very short notice (day before) and everything was ready for us including a great welcome pack. Thanks Julie Would highly recommend for a great stay.
