The photos do not give justice to standing in the terrace in front of that view! It really gave you goosebumps walking into a cave (that had all the 5 start comforts and more) and then stepping into that terrace and taking in the history. Gianfranco was the most heartwarming host, with every detail taken into account. Make sure to book the Aperitivo on the terrace - you will not regret it. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, we cannot wait to be back.

Terrace view on Matera is amazing, unique, and will stay in memory.

Everything about the accommodation was of the highest standard, from the finishing, the view, the homemade treats and the sauna. Gianfranco was the sweetest and most helpful host whose attention to detail was second to none. This was seriously a unique experience and would come back in a heart beat.

The hosts were so kind. They allowed us to stay i. Their beautiful apartment and also left home baked goodies and foods for us after traveling. It was a magical and comfortable cave. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent. The terrace is wonderful and the kitchen is well-equipped. They provide toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and an ample amount of towels. We were greeted by a friendly host who had placed some lovely cakes and cookies on the kitchen table. There are also other breakfast items such as jam, Nutella and tea and the fridge was stocked with some essentials. I would definitely recommend this place.
