St Ives apartment less than 5 minutes walk to beach parking available

Wonderful location just above Porthminster beach and an easy walk into St Ives. Comfortable, cosy flat with helpful owner.

Comfortable bed but right next to wall on one side so difficult to get into/out of. Parking right outside but we had to do a 3 point turn to exit the dead-end road safely.

Compact, clean and tastefully decorated. Good communication with the host. Excellent location. 5 mins walk from beach, 15 mins walk into centre of St Ives. Good bus and train service close by if you want to travel further without car.

There is car parking outside the flat, although narrow street means it’s difficult to turn car. We had to reverse up a steep narrow hill and turn car in a vacant car parking spot. We think car parking is a general issue in St Ives.

The bathroom appeared new. Very nice. The kitchen was functional and useful. It was clean. The location was good for access to the town and beach. Wifi was strong and stable. The 2 chests of drawers in the bedroom were nice.

The bed mattress(es) was on the floor. That is for young people. Same with the furniture in the kitchen/sitting room. Parking is indeed challenging. Bring a small car or not at all. Could use a microwave in the kitchen. The “outdoor terrace” is a shared area enclosed by 4 walls. Booking.com description says, “Outdoor & View” “View”…but there is no view from the apartment.

The location was brilliant. The flat was clean and tidy and had all the amenities needed for a short break.

The hill to access the beach is very steep. But so is alot of the town.

Super Lage, sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment, alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Es fehlte der Hinweis, dass der Schlüssel an der Zwischentür sehr schwer zu schließen geht. Appartement 8 hat leider keine Terrasse, lediglich eine Bank vorm Haus. Sehr schade bei dem Ausblick. Licht im Schlafzimmer und Flur geht immer wieder aus.

Great location and with car parking at the front door. Apartment was very comfortable and had all amenities.

Bedroom was a little tight.
