"The phones don’t work for room service. For $3200 for 2 nights, I’d rather stay at the rosewood an have a better experie"

Property is located in a beautiful part of Mexico

The staff deliberately told me my package wasn’t all inclusive and at the end of the stay confirmed it was. This way they prevented me from spending more (or maybe that’s their strategy)

Service: A) Spent 20 mins trying to contact someone to order room service for breakfast at 8:15 am and could not get a hold of anyone. Did not receive a call back. B) Multiple requests on restaurants went unanswered: example, additional coffee or water. C) Drink services by the pool are subpar. Started ordering two drinks at a time since I was not sure how long it will take them to come back. Drink service by the beach was nonexistent for three out of the four days we were there: One waiter every 2 or 3 hours. Property A) Main pool complex and 3-4 restaurants closed for renovations. While I understand this is low season and why they are close for renovations I think this information should be clearly communicated while booking rather than after arrival to the hotel. One of the days could not sit by the pool since all the spots were taken (main pool was closed) -Wi-Fi is spotty at best in our rooms -AC in the rooms is not working properly. The best explanation I got is that there is a sensor that if it does not detect activity for a set number of hours it will turn the AC off until it reaches a set temperature. We set the AC to 68 and work fine during the day (as long as there was movement in the room?), at night it will get to 71 or 72 before it started working again. Positive: -Installations are well kept -Food is great, especially at Tauro and Gaia -Service on some areas of the hotel are excellent (what you would expect): Cafe maya, Gaia and Tauro for example

I was disappointed that the main pool area was closed as well as three of the dinner restaurants and the buffet breakfast restaurant. As a result, there was limited food options. I would not have booked the resort if I knew this.

Unfortunately, the buffet breakfast at Laguna was closed. We always look forward to that breakfast.

Two of our favorite restaurants were closed for remodeling. It would of been nice to know that before our booking.

Property is really nice. Convenient golf shuttle around the property that comes frequent and drivers are friendly and helpful. Only if the restaurants offer better food options. It’s all inclusive but be mindful of the excluded drinks and snacks in the room, and some restaurants have excluded items that you have to pay extra.
