The Garden Rooms at The Courtyard,Townley Hall

We chose this place last minute, fortunately for us, they had one room open for our desired dates. It’s a converted carriage house/stables (I think), regardless, the place is delightful. We were coming to the end of a two-week Ireland visit and needed a place to unwind a bit. There are several options for short, interesting walks… either to visit the manor grounds next door or to “get lost” in the woods down the lane… we did both and couldn’t recommend one over the other. The owners are terrific, watching them tend to the grounds with loving care let us see how involved they are on a personal level.

I’m gonna have to think long and hard on this question… our entire stay was wonderful.

The property was in a quiet rural location but only about 10 min. to Slane - a small town but with restaurants and a bit farther to several historic sites. Kitchen area to make morning coffee; there is no coffee shop close by but that was perfect for us.

Liked everything- but one should look at the photos and location to know what to expect.

So quaint and unique. It’s renovated with excellence and full of charm. Every detail was carefully thought through and every need anticipated! Would absolutely recommend this lovely place!!

Luxury accommodation in a tranquil setting. Very quiet. Well appointed with a super comfy bed and all amenities. Nice touch of bread, milk etc.

Super mooi appartement. Het heeft alle faciliteiten en 2 grote mooie slaapkamers.

This was a wonderful place. away from noise and hotel traffic. A great find and the host Valerie was exceptional. Just wish we had more time to stay. Would love to return some day.
