Master suite bed was too low... basically it was on the floor. A proper bed would work better, and not hard to do.

“Utterly disappointed! lovely residential area and where the property is located. However, house is absolutely filthy and disgusting. This is not live able conditions at all and should not be available to guests until issues have been rectified. Access hatch to loft fell down soon as you close the bedroom door and slammed against wall. Luckily no one was hurt, all towels are dirty have stains and dirt on them, the bedding on 2 rooms are filthy have stains and dirt on them. The sofa is covered in filth, and let’s not forget the bathtub and wash room. The bath was full off dust doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a long time, blinds bracket above bed window is half hanging, lights in passage not working. Wardrobes doors falling apart & full off junk inside. Bedroom door handles falling apart, cowboys tried glueing it on but failed. The list is endless. The worst experience in my life. Cleanliness -1/10. Overall first night experience -5/10. Pleas avoid at all cost to avoid disappointment.”

Perfect stay. The place had a really ‘homey’ feel to it and was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were really quick at answering any questions no matter if I messaged or by phone call. I only stayed for one night and wish I stayed for more, if I am ever up in Manchester again I will 100% be booking again.

Location was good

The house was very dirty. The oven was thick with burnt food, grease and crumbs, the kitchen work tops were greasy/dirty, the beds looked like someone else had slept in them before us as there was hair, a sock and a sweet wrapper under the cover of one of them, mattresses were something I've never saw in my life, disgusting, black spots, stains and even vomit. There were cobwebs around the rooms in corners and surrounding the lights. When paying so much for a self catering house, I would have at least expected it to be clean and a home from home environment.

Location, open plan space - great for families. Secure garden - pet friendly. Owner very helpful & replied to our direct enquiries quickly & very amenable.

Some fixtures & fittings were damaged/worn out. Dishwasher didn't work properly. Only a few of the pots & pans were compatible with the induction hob. Light bulbs missing or not working. Booking.com gave wrong access code for the door key lock box, had to disturb the owner to gain access on arrival, but this was dealt with quickly by the owner.

Wifi was super laggy and disconnected at times due to the area we was in the signal wasn’t the greatest for us to use our own mobile data.
