Your Perfect Getaway with Hot Tub

Lovely home inside. Beds very comfy. Agreed with host that ‘hot tub’ was good to go and clean/warm etc prior. As it’s advertised as ‘Your perfect getaway WITH HOT TUB), that was our main ‘filter’ in searching via booking.com

Hot tub not even switched on, so as they take around 8-10 hours to heat it was pointless. It was also filthy, random items floating in it. Its headline states getaway WITH A HOT TUB’ …. Unusable BBQ, more a dirty fire pit. It was great weather, we wanted to enjoy the tub,BBQ and garden….. the garden was neglected and overgrown. Have submitted images to host but no response. Housekeeper even arrived at 10.30am on check out day, (just staying one night), who told me he has told Kyly (host) that tub wasn’t working the day before and prior to that. I expect a full refund, Kyly requested photos which were supplied 24 hours ago. Tried to follow up today via text and phone, no response still despite knowing messages had been read via read receipts. Rather telling that the review immediately prior to mine says the same re hot tub!!! If host does not arrange this I hope that #booking.com will intervene and make this happen as a matter of urgency.

Hot tub wasn’t hot at all, was turned off when we arrived and with only stay the night it didn’t heat up enough for it to be used which was a disappointment as this was one the reasons to stay here, property is listed to have a bbq but the “bbq” was a fire hit not fit for cooking and the garden is in need of a sort out and more outdoor seating

The property was of a nice size for a family and had all the essentials required. It was in a good location. Easy to check in and early check in was accommodated without any issues. Good communication from the owners. It is a beautiful home within a lovely community. I would recommend to friends and family.

It appeared as though the people renting out the property actually lived there. Some of the fixtures were loose.

Good location for the airport

The property was dirty. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned. One bin was still full. Stains and liquid down the front of the drawers in kitchen. Sofa stained. Mould on wall in one bedroom and the bedroom handle that was mentioned in January review was still falling off. Cigarette end behind the bed in master bedroom and everywhere just dirty. Tv in one room thick with dust. Blinds in one bedroom tangled so I had to untangle them. No handwash in the bathrooms. A disappointing stay in a property that could be lovely if it was clean and given some basic maintenance. We are service accommodation owners ourselves and also stay in a lot of serviced accommodation. This property falls far short of the standard of a 9.5 that we would expect
