Mahout Resort Wayanad - An Experiential Jungle Stay with Waterfall

The Staff made us comfortable with the surroundings and helped us navigate the tourist attractions around that place. And the food served every day was phenomenal, that anyone tasted it would come back to the resort just for it. Also to mention, there is cute doggie there named Charlie (Sometimes they call it lily too).

The room service could hav been better, since they didn't come there selves until v asked to clean and change the bedsheets

Only the beautiful natural waterfall on the property!

1) The Manager- not customer friendly or very considerate of the guest's needs. Instructions were never related properly to kitchen staff. 2) The location of the property itself is problematic if you are an adventure seeker. This place is literally a( W)hole jungle in the wall with limited access and a whole lot of grief getting there.For honeymooners who wish to have no contact with the world outside it could serve the purpose. 3) Terrible food - options are limited and everything served tastes the same. Even the tea and coffee are unbearable!

The location of the property was good. I loved the waterfall. The staff were nice, especially Rahul who guided us to the waterfall and around the property. The food was also good.

The room/bamboo cottage was not up to the mark. It wasn't very clean and there were some bad smell. The blanket was too small for two people.
