The Annexe at Walnut Tree Cottage

Location, everything you needed, peaceful. Mel& Guy where very welcoming and helpful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Friendly host, good communication. Modern conversion, all very smart & everything worked. Checked all was OK without being intrusive

The cottage was great, and Mel was very welcoming.We couldn't fault it and would definitely stay again if we are in that area.

Everything was perfect. The house is warm, cosy, and well equipped. Mel is very welcoming and has loads of information.

Beautiful Annexe within the hosts property, a lovely welcome from the host and muffins and home made jam were left for breakfast, also 2 bottles of local cider and apple juice, we brought along our dog and a box of dog accessories were left which included blankets, food bowls and treats and a toy, the annexe is well kept and very clean, Make sure you look in the pantry for home baked goodies were you can pay in the honest box

Very well equipped and the entire space was nicely decorated. Mel was a great host, especially with recommendations for pubs and local walks.

Mel was very outgoing and sociable. She had lots of information about the area which she had in binders for you to peruse. Her recommendations for dinners & day trips were great. She is also a terrific baker as seen in the breakfast goodies and a roadside pantry stocked for the neighbourhood. Excellent stay.

The Annexe iwas arger than expected and allows different members of a party of 3 or 4 to use the space flexibly especially in the evenings. Location is rural but very accessible and was quiet.
