The Annexe at Walnut Tree Cottage

Can not fault our stay. The Annexe was exceptional and Mel went above and beyond as a host...the extra little touches including the gorgeous Xmas tree, surprise little presents and treats for the dogs, not to mention the home made jam and amazing coffee for us! They thought of everything and we appreciated the time they spent chatting to us, sharing their local knowledge. It just made our stay so special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone and would love to go back, whenever they're not fully booked! :-)

The welcome, Fresh milk, extra nibbles so generously left by our hosts. very warmly and comfy feel about the annexe. Great to be dog friendly with treats and items left out to use. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs just for one night or for a week. Superb place to get away.

The host Mel was amazing and made our stay very enjoyable. We had the perfect cosy weekend with our dogs and will certainly be back. The Annexe is very clean and tidy with all the facilities we needed. The Christmas decorations for our mid December stay made the place all the more cosy. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

The location was not too far out of the way, settled in a lovely village next to some great walking locations, mel was lovely and accommodating especially during the unfortunate power cut

Absolutely stunning little cottage, Great that its pet friendly and loved the gift basket provided for out dog. Fresh milk, tea, percolated coffee and muffins! With jam and butter, lovely way to start the day. Plenty of leaflets and guide books to keep you amused for a week or two. Cosy, clean and a lovely secluded location and easy to find. Not too far from Leominster or Hereford for that matter. The hosts are really nice people, catered for all of our needs and were happy to do more if needed. Turns out they also provide a dog sitting service if you have to pop out and can't take your pup.

A bit gutted that we weren't able to stay longer! And we also time get time to fire up the BBQ. None of this was anyones fault. I can honestly say I could not find a fault with our stay

The property has everything you need and is in an ideal location for Leominster, Hereford and Ludlow. The attention to little details is lovely, such Halloween treats for both humans and dogs alike 😀. The provision of essentials such as milk, bread, butter and of course delicious shortbread biscuits is great. Super dog friendly.

We loved pretty much everything. It's dog friendly and in a great location, being quiet with loads of walks right on your doorstep. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, with everything you are going to need. Mel is a warm welcoming host, and she really cares that you enjoy your stay.

The Annexe at Walnut Tree Cottage is a fantastic place to stay - it exceeded our expectations entirely. The Annexe is gorgeously decorated with all the amenities you could possibly want. It was fantastically clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The weather started to get a bit cooler, but the heating was superb, and we felt very cosy in the property. We met Mel, who is such a beautiful soul and host, and the Annexe really is a credit to you. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. We will definitely be back.

Absolute gem of a place, beautiful cottage, well laid out and clean. Mel the host went above and beyond with communication beforehand and during our stay. We stayed for a wedding nearby and she even offered to give us a lift! The cottage is charming with a sweet garden and is so quiet and peaceful. We had the loveliest time staying her! Loved the welcome supplies too. A very nice touch. I haven't stayed anywhere so perfect, welcoming and peaceful ìn a very long time. I'll be booking for my parents next year as it's such a beautiful place. 10/10 on every aspect. Thank you Mel, you're a superstar host!
