Inners City Apartments -On Suites

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. Great location close to the train station and lots of Asian restaurants nearby. Check-in was smooth and communication via Whats App very easy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

Owner very kind, friendly, prompt, professional & extremely likeable. Rooms very spacious and clean with mostly lovely clean bedding, towels and toilet rolls. Lovely hot water which is always very welcome! Vehicle safe in private car park which I was very happy with. Not a far walk to the shopping centre and plenty of places to eat nearby although majority of places were Chinese.

Doors in corridors and rooms need to be soft close as we did not sleep at all due to people back and fore at all hours until 8.00am, slamming doors, shouting and conversing, even heard cutlery being moved at 3.00am!!. Other tenants need to be respectful and mindful of others, especially after 11.00pm. It is not the proprietors fault but it should be addressed for future reference as sleep deprivation is not conducive to a good stay. Lack of sleep due to noise at all hours was the only negative staying there. Also bathroom smelled quite damp, there were makeup stains on bed runners and blinds need replacing due to previous damage. Would have been nice to have shampoo, conditioner and soap/bodywash instead of just handwash. Had to chase refund of damage deposit after 10 days too, but this was quickly reimbursed after having to contact them. If these negativities were rectified, we would definitely stay again 100%!

The apartment is dated. Needs a good clean and overall. Photos in booking.com do not match what we found. Repairs need doing. Shower roses broken. Drains blocked. If we hadn't made prior payment for accommodation, we would have left. Spent as little time in apartment as possible. Lift was dirty.. Carpet in hallway to unit was dirty and squished under your feet. Totally mis presented from what we were expecting. Couldn't wait to leave.

The location was perfect for central Birmingham. The apartment had good facilities and staff communication was good and they were friendly.

There was 6 of us staying at the apartment but only had 1 access fob

It’s location was good, walking distance to everywhere. Near china town.

The initial impression of the entrance, stair wells and corridors were dated and dirty but once you were in the flat it was fine. We did leave a list of some things that could be easily improved in the flat, broken blinds, shower not great, looking tired in bathroom areas but generally the kitchen had everything needed for a couple of days break. The beds were clean and comfortable and for us it worked for what we needed it for.

ABUSIVE MAN , FILTHY UNKEPT APARTMENT BOOKED 2 X DOUBLE BED WITH 2 BATHROOMS DRAGGED ROUND A 1XBED THEN ANOTHER TO BE GASLIGHTED ABOUT IT WHEN I COMPLAINED DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PERSON

EVERYTHING, 1 fork, 2x plates, bedroom door doesn't shut because of bed in way, freezer was completely full of ice, kitchen needed repairs, bathrooms too, dried on food on everything, cushions & pillows stained, no dishwasher, had to leave no refund!!! Not even partly disgusting, bedroom window can't open, double glazing bust, no soundproof, club on the same road till 3am

Accessible friendly for those looking for step-free access. Private parking for an additional charge. Additionally, I accidentally left a few personal items behind after checking out. The host was incredibly prompt and kind in arranging the return of my belongings.
