Large studio flat B near Heathrow

Location and cleanliness.

Very convenient for my flight in the morning. A short walk to the tube station, with only one stop to the terminal at Heathrow. The local pub, a few 100yards down the road, doesn't look much from the outside but had friendly staff and the food was excellent.

The privacy of the room to myself.

The towels were damp. The bedding had a bad smell of being left in the washing machine too long. Assuming this is the pattern as when I got to the property the washing machine was on and washing other bedding. And stayed there till I left the next morning. The bathroom smelt like someone had smoked lots of cigarettes in there. The bathroom window didn’t open so no ventilation to get rid of the smell. Also no bath mat. The sink and bathroom drawers were covered in previous guest toothpaste slops and hadn’t even been wiped over. The only mirror that should in my opinion be in the bathroom had several finger prints and marks on it. Also behind the wardrobe was some wall insulation that is used in lofts all exposed which could be a lovely home for mice, considering the property is near fields/runway. Not very nice to see and very aware of. Lots of attention to detail is needed here.

Easy access from the airport. There is a kitchen with everything that you need to prepare your own food. I liked that the bathroom was private.

Needs a few repairs, spaces between the door and doorframe. Washing left in washing machine with note - to remove sheets fold and place in the linen cupboard if we required to use the machine. We don’t think we should be doing there laundry duties for them. We’ve never been asked or expected to do house laundry at any premises previously.
