Location was great right by the harbour

These comments are common on other reviews, so don't expect anything to change before your visist. The apartment was poorly maintained and needs a deep clean, the toilet and toilet seat were not secure, the shower screen and bathroom door were filthy, behind the sofa was full of bits, the bedroom door had a big hole in it. Main problem was the waste being dumped at the bottom of the staircase, creating an awful smell right through the building. Mattresses and bedding were cheap and uncomfortable

The apartment was very nice well layed out and modern prime place for the centre of town and right next to the harbour

It was a shame that previous guest had damaged the apartment in a few places but I'm sure it will be repaired back to a very nice apartment. Me being picky 🙄

On our arrival we found 2 toilet rolls on the floor outside the door! Not enough towels. We booked for 5 people, only received 4 which were thin and worn. Pillows flat and only 1 each. No hand towels, tea towels or anything to wash and clean up with. No amenities in bathroom. Toilet seat lid is far too small for the toilet, and wobbles- had to sit down with caution! Carpet coming away on the stairs, huge trip hazard and with no hand rail for the stairs, this is a massive safety issue. Hole in wall under the tv, hole in the main bedroom door and wall paper torn in 2nd bedroom. To be honest, there is nothing lavish about this apartment.

There was no coat hangers in the wardrobe's and no Iron , also the stair carpet is loose so was quite dangerous getting uo and down to second floor flat.

It needs a good freshen up hole in wall and doors and ripped wall paper, a lot of stairs which I new there would be but good maybe let people know as I had two over 70s with me and the second lot of stair are ridiculously dangerous no hand rail and carpet that comes up when walked on someone will get seriously hurt if not fixed ASAP just a good thing was spotted by me when it moved under my foot! Also no toilet roll or cloth for washing pots I feel like this should be something stated not available so people no to bring things like this.

We really liked the size of the apartment. This has a massive open plan lounge/kitchen with a huge breakfast bar that we could play board games on in the evening. The furnishings were new and modern. The bedrooms are large with plenty of space to put things. The location was close to all the amusements and the sea - although the sea view can only be obtained by hanging out of one particular window in the lounge at just the right angle! If you have come to Brid to experience the view then you would be outside anyway! Large TV with Netflix. This property is above a shop, opposite an amusements and a pub. Noise was expected and easily masked with the windows being closed, I honestly heard more from the seagulls in the early hours.

Just a few small things. After reading the reviews I came prepared for all eventualities. It’s definitely unusual unlocking a door and then going up some more stairs to a glass door that does not have a lock. Stairs. The stair carpet is a big hazard, despite many reviews about this, no one has been out to nail it down. It’s a two minute job and will save a lawsuit, just get it fixed! Bathroom. Either the toilet seat has been fixed, or you are all very rough with it. Did not have a problem. The bathroom would benefit from an extractor as there is no window. We had fun trying to get the shower to remain the correct temperature, but once we’d cracked it, it worked a treat. It isn’t a power shower, but works well enough. The surface of the tray is very smooth and could probably do with some anti slip stickers down. As people have said before, no toiletries at all. Not even some soap. I fetched my own as I’d read the reviews, but for an apartment listed as “lavish” it lacked the essentials. Kitchen. Lovely and modern. We only used the fridge, so can’t comment on the cooking. No washing up liquid or tea towel. Bedrooms. Two towels were provided for three people. No hand towels, or towel/mat for the bathroom floor. We fetched our own, so it wasn’t the end of the world. The bedroom door was very squeaky and had a big dent in it, and a massive hole. This could be easily fixed. There were no extra pillows. No iron, no hairdryer. Fetch your own if this is what you require. Weird mirror sticker on the wall, of absolutely no use as a mirror unless you’re in a funhouse. There is a similar one in the kitchen. Lounge. Hole below the TV. Not particularly well cleaned. There were girls hair bands on the window sill and crumbs on the settee. We weren’t bothered by this as it was generally clean in the apartment.

No tea towels or washing up liquid. Toilet seat was hanging off. Only 3 towels between 5. Stair carpet was coming off and dangerous. Big dents/ fist marks in the wall. No cooking utensils
