it was easy to come and go through the back door; the air conditioning worked ok. the beds were comfortable; the shower worked well. the balcony was really nice to have.

'steps from the ferry' was completely misleading - it was at least a 25 minute hot walk up hill. there was nothing nearby in terms of getting food or catching a taxi. The taxi found it but it was not a convenient location. The shower lacked a bathmat and any soap; we used a towel for our hand towel, but a hand towel would have been helpful. Also, all the negative comments the owner made about other nationalities, including PR, were very off putting and inappropriate.

The host Rolin was very helpful with all his suggestions & his services. The place is also close to all major beaches & bay in Vieques. The place was clean & Rolin made sure to make us feel comfortable right away & was available as and when needed.

Rooster Run Guest House was a wonderful place to stay in Vieques. The rooms are newly furnished, comfortable, affordable, and air-conditioned, making it easy to relax after a day out. The location is perfect—close to the ferry, beaches, and surrounded by beautiful views. What truly made our stay special was the host, Rollin, who is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rollin went above and beyond to make sure our stay with kids was pleasant and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vieques and looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. I would like to visit and stay again .

The dog was sweet

Everything else. We reserved two rooms. The rooms were double booked so we all went into one room. He did refund the second room but obviously it was not what we planned on and not enough space for a group of 5. NO blankets were provided and we were told to just keep the temperature higher. We got cheap towels that still had stickers on them. It was filthy. I mean filthy. And, it is not near the ferry, which was the least of our concerns. One of the mattresses shown is an air mattress, not a real mattress. The window in the bathroom is open and covered in plastic wrap. This place should be taken off Bookings.com to preserve your reputation.
