Beautiful property, lovely rural location. We loved watching the pheasants and chickens roam around.

Please add a spatula to the kitchen utensils.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hen House. The place has everything you need for a break away. We had good weather so could enjoy a cuppa on the balcony. The robes were a very welcome touch. We had a meal on the Saturday evening at the local pub the Hare and Hound - we were made to feel very welcome and the food was fantastic. We booked the weekend away with the intention of just relaxing - the Hen House was perfect for it. Highly recommend staying here - a relaxing weekend away with a touch of luxury.

There was not one thing we we didn’t like about the hen house it was fabulous

Stairs to property wouldn't suit everyone.

Lovely, spacious chalet. Loved seeing the wildlife in the grounds. Did consider a shepherd's hut however, glad we made this choice as there was so much more room. Id love to come back with my daughter. Also, was apprehensive it may smell of dog or be covered in hairs as its dog friendly, however, it was spotless. Decor lovely too. The fisheries down the road does a very good and cheap full English too

Cockerel is very vocal, id recommend taking ear plugs if youre a light sleeper like me

The Hen House is very well furnished, clean and pleasent.

Clean & Maintained Property

- No TV (On Demand Only, However had to be logged in using a mobile device) - No Wifi (3-4 Different Wifi Codes around the websie which none were working) - Garden area is a small distance away from property so was an inconveience with our dogs. - No Privacy due to another property overlooking this one, With a full glass front. We felt very uncomfortable - No Mobile Phone Signal (No Wifi, No Calls) which should of been stated - Help Books around the property werent any use as we could not contact host with no signal on phones - Not suitable for familys as its very open planned, Double bed in a corner of the property - Not Secure for dogs in the garden area which is seperate from the property as it was not fenced. We left the property 1 hour after arriving and decided to go home. Dissapointed as we drove 2-2hrs 30 mins to the property.
