Gorgeous Cozy Cottage with a heritage feel, walks, pubs & wood burner

Delightful location and very pretty cottage. Easy walk to the village. Good facilities - dishwasher was a great bonus. Jenni is a great host and helped us with a Netflix connection as we are ineligible for a Netflix account in the UK.

Towels a bit thin and no tea towel in the kitchen.

The cottage had everything you needed except a few items such as a hand whisk and a jug to make scrambled eggs. It had lovely Comfortable beds. It was nice to have a bath for a soak after a long day of walking. Excellent location within walking distance to local eateries.

The lounge sofa was a little uncomfortable. The £25 cost for a dog to be left for the cleaners wasn't mentioned at time of booking. Otherwise good value for money.

Weeds on front, dirty welcome mat,patio chairs old and bent,fridge door shelf broken,sofa uncomforable and other seating also, no coffee table, inadequate seating for four,towels meagre - very poor quality

Slight dog smell in the lounge, dust round the edge of carpet in bedroom and under the bunk bed where we put bags but that is very picky definitely wouldn’t stop us staying again

The cottage had all the facilities we could possibly need and was well organised, warm, and welcoming.

The bathroom would benefit from a bit more attention to detail, but it was adequate for our needs. The log burner was heavily advertised as an asset, but no logs were provided. As we were not informed to bring our own logs, this was reflected in the lower score regarding check-in information.

This cottage is a dream. Perfect location, very nicely decorated and overall well kept. A suggestion to make it even more cozy and luxurious would be to upgrade the bathroom and add some nice products for the guests. We enjoyed the sunset from the terrace, the view is beautiful.
