The Undercoft stylish and elegant private studio at The Old Church House central Frome

Great location - very central but not noisy.

Litter outside. Only 1 hand towel provided. Cobwebs festooned across bathroom & bedroom beams. Shower sprayed all over bathroom floor and mat was permanently wet, so smell of damp. Maybe get longer shower curtain? Throw provided smelled of wet dog - the owner did resolve this promptly.

The biggest plus for this property is the location. In central Frome with easy access on foot to nice pubs and restaurants and via car to Longleat etc. The bathroom was excellent overall and the shower was brilliant. Bed was comfy. Property had a very authentic look inside and out which we liked. Wi-Fi was good but we did have to prompt the owner for the code. Although there was no parking outside the property there was a free overnight car park a couple of minutes walk away.

Below are observations rather than definite didn't likes. Feel that the description of the property was slightly exaggerated. The accommodation overall was good but not luxury, think large hotel room with a basic kitchenette. There is a small terrace that leads to the front door but the table and chairs that serve as the work desk and dining table indoors would need to be moved outside. The kitchenette had no hot water. Adequate if you just want to microwave something basic. Coffee shops literally just round the corner did great coffee etc.

Lovely little accommodation in the heart of frome, very peaceful, just a bed ,small table and 2 chairs, small sink and fridge + kettle but everything fitted perfectly, bed was very comfortable, pillows a bit soft for us,but thats a personal thing,tea/coffee facility and owners left us milk and shortbread millionaire,nice to come back from being out all day and relax in bed to watch TV. Shower was excellent and powerful, great communication from owners,highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing really,maybe change the shower curtain for a screen to stop floor getting soaked.

Everything was great. Lovely cosy room, clean and comfortable and perfect location.

No parking however plenty of car parks and side roads near by so can be over come.

Incorrect key safe code provided by booking.com, had to call the owner in France. Milk left was off, no hot water in shower both days.

Comfortable, well designed, great location, good bed so good nights sleep.

Overall very good. Perhaps a bigger fridge and big more lichen equipment would have been handy. And also bigger towels.
