The apartment is tired, but wouldn’t stop me going back A lot of noise from the the above apartment through the night

Very clean, great location, well equipped. Perfect for what we needed. The host communicated efficiently and was very easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Oven dials were over worn, had to google the oven to make sure settings were right before cooking

Good location for onwards journey to London

Very tired, flooring coming up and just generally in a very poor way. Bed sheets looked as if they had already been slept on!

Hello, unfortunately we found the property above very disappointing. The standard of accommodation and cleanliness was extremely poor. There was a musty damp smell throughout which was overlaid with numerous air fresheners which both my grandson and myself were allergic to. A very dirty vacuum cleaner was left plugged in in one of the bedrooms. Cleaning mops and products were also in the bedroom in a cupboard which didn’t close so the smell from the mop pervaded the bedroom. We used the toaster which fused all the sockets and lights. So we had to hunt for the fuse box to fix the tripped switch. The oven symbols were rubbed off so we couldn’t see the oven settings or temperature. Again not only dangerous in terms of cooking food but not what I expected from the property. The doors were filthy with people’s hand marks and there were spots of blood on the bathroom door. The bath was gritty and dirty. Bath did not feel sturdy enough to stand and shower. When I arrived home I realised not only did I smell from the flat but all my belongings smelled too. So everything has needed washing including cases and toiletry bags. The outside of the property was also unclean, unpainted and generally unloved. This was not a very good welcome. A car was parked in the parking area and it didn’t look like it had moved in 20 years. It had moss and plants growing out of it. The entrance hallway had broken laminate flooring which was a trip hazard. We are so disappointed and have never before stayed anywhere quite as bad as this.

It was like sharing somebody's home with their collections and interests on display. The location is excellent; in fact a longer stay could mean you could park at the property and travel everywhere by bus & train, There was a wide range of eating opportunities, again, within walking distance

The downside to its excellent location is that it is alongside the A4 road into Maidenhead which is busy at all hours of the day (and much of the night) Earplugs are advisable
