Room was a bit small but was comfortable.

Everything. It's the best homestay I've ever experienced during my 1-month transition period between my two leases. Really good design of the living room. It has three skylights so the natural light can come in. The facilities are very nice. Good design in bathroom too. It also has a skylight which makes it very bright. The design of the shower area is simple and elegant. WiFi is good, I could play my games without any lag. Landlord assigned a cabinet to me so I can put my cooking utilities. I suggest the same way to the fridge. Beautiful neighbor, very quiet. There is a large greenland and park nearby. Walk 20 min to a TESCO, so I can buy my food there.

I suggest the landlord add a soundproof strip around the door gap since the space between the door and floor is large and I can hear sound in the living room and kitchen. But since no one made large noise so overall it's not a big deal. TV in the room is a bit high and has no signal, since I don't watch TV so it doesn't matter.

The location was handy for an appointment at Shirley Oaks hospital next morning.

I didn't see a single person the entire time ! Not an issue but it means I couldn't rate the staff because there weren't any ! I did hear someone clumping about upstairs but it wasn't too bad. Generally a quiet location. Had to park in the street though. No problem (I assume).

The house was very beautiful, well designed and clean. The bed was also very comfortable and there were some lovely touches in the room and communal spaces. I also appreciated the calm and quiet. The communal spaces were great because the other guests were really lovely and I was able to socialise with them.

The only issues I experienced were the weak internet signal, even when using my data, and the lack of heating/access to control the room temperature. Myself and another guest were rather cold but it was only a night stay for me so I managed. There were radiators but no accessible thermostat. I didn’t receive a response back when I messaged for help with that. I would happily consider booking again if I knew these issues would be resolved.
