The Shark Bay Private Villas

Great location very beautiful views, very beautiful and comfortable villa. Love that it is very quite.

The fire place was not working and that was not communicated prior to us getting to the location, it was mentioned when we checked in and in passing because I asked the price of wood and there was a "by the way the fireplace is not working, it can only be fixed Monday". The villa is veeeeeeeery cold there is no aircon in the second bedroom or lounge. It is in one bedroom. We were given a fan heater that did not make any difference because we could only plug it behind the couch. We had to seat with blankets so we can be able to watch TV. The bedrooms need wifi extenders there is no wifi on the other side of the villa. Were offered complementary breakfast because of the fireplace issue. The breakfast was very cold. Not Halaal friendly and I did ask if it was and I was told it is, only to get there and the chicken livers were mixed with bacon and cheese grillers. Cottage cheese was mixed with Salami. No consideration for Halaal people. The second bedroom with 3/4 beds, I dnt think the sheets were changed on the second bed. They had a stain. The water is not so hot in the shower.

Location is superb with great views of the lagoon and reserve. The villa is modern, very comfortable and fully equipped. Friendly and welcoming staff too

Most of the dishes in the villa had beem washed in dishwasher and just placed back on cupboard. There was no communication on the cleaning service and time.they would arrive each morning..

The villa itself was beautiful and offered a lovely setting for a weekend getaway. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-presented. A few small additions such as paper towels, non-stick pans, and ensuring kitchen utensils and cookware remain in good condition despite continuous use would further enhance the guest experience.

Unfortunately, our experience with the jacuzzi was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we experienced issues getting the wood-fired jacuzzi operational. We requested assistance and the groundsman initially agreed to return at 14:00 PM to assist. However, he returned earlier at approximately 12:45 PM and appeared uncertain and unwilling to assist with lighting the jacuzzi. He advised that the wood would be depleted before we intended using it at around 16:00 PM. We attempted to get the fire going ourselves, but the wood appeared damp as the fire repeatedly went out. After contacting reception for assistance, we experienced continuous back-and-forth with help offered with little progress. It was only around 19:00 PM that meaningful assistance was provided. By approximately 11:00 PM the jacuzzi had finally warmed up, but by then it was too late and too cold outside to enjoy it. We had hoped to use it the following morning, but unfortunately it had gone completely cold overnight. As a result, we were unable to use the jacuzzi at all during our stay. When requesting a refund for the unused jacuzzi experience, we were informed that approval was required from the General Manager, who was unavailable, and that no manager was available at the time either. We were advised to call back later, which we felt was unreasonable given that the issue originated from the property's inability to provide the service we had paid for. We expected the management team to take ownership and contact us directly. It has now been four days since our departure, and despite assurances, nobody has contacted us regarding the refund. While the villa itself was enjoyable, the lack of service, accountability, and follow-up regarding the jacuzzi issue significantly impacted our overall experience.
