Riad Lumières du Sud

Decent budget option, pretty room and super quiet at night.

The Riad is hard to find by your self as there is no sign, and the POI in google maps is wrongly located, I briefly commented this on arrival and it was not welcomed. I was received rudely to the point I almost turned around to find another place - however as I was feeling ill and tired I chose to stay at the Riad anyway. There was the smell of old tobacco in the room.

It’s nice, clean, and I had everything I needed for a 2 night stay in beautiful Marrakech. Mark, our host, was helpful and always present and available!

There’s nothing not to like!

Location

Marc was a great host and helped us organise trips and things to do as well as making us home made breakfast in the mornings.

We booked the 5 bedroom house which wasn't as described and was just 3 of the bedrooms - which was all we needed for 3 of us, but isn't what we'd booked. No living room area, or access to whole house facilities as advertised. Booking an individual room would be fine and as advertised, but not the 5 bed house option.

In the hart of the old town and very traditional

Pretty dark and dingy room, room located next to kitchen area, pretty noisy very early. Airport taxi service arranged by Marc before arrival is not good value for money, however it would probably be difficult to find the accommodation without this service (rock and a hard place) !!
