YoLo Pool Bar Villas & Garden Restaurant

The staff are really amazing. Not only did they pick us up at 4am from the bus stop and gave us a bed to sleep in which felt like having an extra night we hadn’t booked but nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always on hand to help. It felt very homely.

It’s not the best hostel you’re ever going to stay in but it’s clean, cheap and comfortable.

Friendly staff, nice view on the river, you can rent motorbikes (you’ll need one because the location is a bit far away from the main street)

Cleanliness should be improved. There were many dead flies on the floor in the dorm room, the bathroom smelled like sewer air

I loved the views of the location of the mountains and the space of the room didn’t feel contained in a tight space

We were booked in for 3 nights, we had to leave after 2 nights as they were overbooked so we were redirected to a hotel 3km down the road which was an inconvenience as we are backpacking and had to pack up everything and move to another location and wait to check in again which took time out of our day to explore.

Very accommodating, quick replies to any messages. Even gave us a torch during the power cut

Avoid this place if you can. Not the best hotel owners. Lot os other places to choose from.

I can not recommend this place....CHECK IN: The owner sent us a text saying he'd come pick us up at 11am and that the room was move in ready. Every 15 minutes after 11 he'd send a text saying 5 min. Didn't pic us up until almost noon. When we arrived the rooms were not ready. Instead he gathered us all around and tried to pitch us the Expensive Cave Tours they have in town (all can be done DIY for way cheaper). His pitch lasted about an hour even though we kept telling him we were DIY and didn't want any tours. After he'd finished his pitch his staff announced the rooms were ready....turns out they were ready all the time....Hmm?.....NOT QUIET: This hotel is not designed to be quiet. Rooms are located over the pool table and activity area....the crowd can go all night. ...WATCH for ADD ONS: They gave us a big bottle of water when we check in....never mentioned it was not free....the charge was on our bill when we went to leave....TOWELS: We were all there 2 nights....some of the Cave you visit you get pretty dirty. When we returned we found none of the higher priced private rooms cleaned and no fresh towels. The owner was rude and said you have to stay 3 days to get your rooms cleaned and fresh towels....said he wouldn't give us fresh towels. The fact is he was pissed we never bought his tours I think

The comfiest beds ever!! The owner is suoer nice, he even picked me up from where my bus left me, and his wife also gave me a ride to the meeting point when I was leaving. Booked a 2 day expedition to the cave and it was wonderful! Definitely would stay again

The staff were very helpful and accomodating - we arrived in the middle of the night and they came to pick us up and also were able to find a room for us when we checked in a couple days earlier than planned. They have good connections with tour agencies, so definitely book through them when you arrive instead of using a site like Viator or Get Your Guide. Having breakfast included was nice and it's cooked fresh for you (Western and Asian options). Although we didn't use it, the pool appeared clean and well maintained. There's parking for scooters in front too and there are restaurant options within walking distance.

It would have been nice to have our garbage emptied daily, although to be fair we did not ask. The internet is pretty unstable and slow, but it's a small town, so that's to be expected. The outlets are at odd spots, so extension cords in the rooms would be helpful.

Great breakfast; pickup possible from busstop; woman was kind and helpful. Nice pool; good bar; can buy groceries at the reception so that you don't have to walk 25minutes to the city centre

Bad mattrass; dirty toilets (downstairs) - could smell them while showering next to it; slept next to the reception desk where you are watched through the door window by people in the reception area
