Trulli&Dimore - Palazzo Maris

The location was perfect . The complimentary bottles of wine and nibbles . Nice bathroom soap and shampoo ( some supply nothing ). The correspondence of the hosts . Facilities overall were excellent. The apartment was a bailable for a morning check in and a slightly later checkout.

Unfortunately we experienced extreme wind in our first night which meant we couldn’t go to the upper deck and had NO sleep all night due to the above apartments, which I think are part of the same complex , ) either awnings flapping against metal poles or outside furniture and plants moving around in the wind. I contacted the hosts who said they would do what they could, but it was still rather noisy . Thankfully the weather abated . A couch would be good to relax on after being a tourist all day, only wooden stools and one chair. My phone died one day, which left us with no access to digital codes to access building and apartment , so maybe paper copies supplied for guests, ( a kind coffee shop keeper charged our phones ). Pegs for hanging clothes . Extra bin liners supplied. Spa was fun, but took up a lot of room, where a couch would be good. Maybe supply a list of recommended restaurants etc in the area.

Location was good, but frankly it does NOT have a Seaview unless you are willing to do gymnastics from the one-person balcony or leave the front door wide open or go up to the SHARED rooftop (where most of the photos are from)

Strange layout with an entire room devoted to a spa bath, and only a single chair (no couch). When we wanted to upgrade the booking (some months in advance) the property managers were very inflexible.

The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the kitchen was a great aspect.

Lovely to have some water in the fridge when we arrived and a few snacks. Plenty of towels, comfy bed. Clean, central apartment

It’s only sea view if you lean over the balcony and look left. Would be good to have a washing machine

Nice host and good central place!

Small bathroom and the terrace is from the building. It’s not a private terrace.
