Luxury Shepherd Hut in the Peak District

We were very impressed by how well our hut was furnished and prepared for our stay. It really did have a luxury feel even though it's a shepherds hut, and the host had clearly made an effort to both welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. There were some lovely touches like complimentary bottles of fizz and milk, a selection of shampoos and shower gels and condiments that are often forgotten in self catering accommodation. Finally the location and setting of the hut are beautiful, there was a lovely view from the outside seating and it truly felt like we'd escaped the real world for a few days.

We were a little surprised that the neighbouring hut was so close but it didn't bother us.

The property is well maintained and clean. There is a short walk from the car park to the huts (through grass). Everything you need is provided. Nicky was fantastic and very welcoming. She supplied us with plenty of information before our visit re. Walks / places to eat within the area. This massively helped us plan our few days. Lovely peaceful quiet area away from all the noise. Will definitely be back, see you again soon Nicky (p.s the chocolates were delicious) x

The shepherd's hut was so cute. It was fully equipped with everything needed.to have a great stay and be self sufficient. It was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The host had put lovely touches in the hut. Communication was fantastic. The location was stunning. Loved it! Didn't want to leave!

Amazing accomodation, everything thought of, lovely peaceful setting.

Amazing facilities, super clean. Spacious and cosy at the same time. Very comfortable bed! Very personalised experience. Staff would go above and beyond to make sure you were happy. My dog enjoyed the goodies left for her.
