Newly Refurbished Homely 4BR in Sherwood

Good location

Arrived at pre arranged and confirmed time of 3pm for check in, was told to use app to retrieve codes for lock box at arranged 3pm however when we arrived the app stated the key code would be available in 5hrs, had to call to retrieve code (email confirming codes had been released did in fact come through 5hrs later as stated on the app!!!!) Major safety concern regarding the driveway, as this is raised a number of feet from the broken up concrete steps and garden below with no railings/wall/fencing preventing you falling whilst climbing out of your vehicle onto the loose stoned driveway, especially dangerous for young children Booking for 2 adults and 3 children, pictures on the advert clearly show 2 dining room chairs and a bench around the dining table and images show 2 blue vanity chairs in two of the bedrooms, when we arrived there were no dining room chairs, instead we had the 2 vanity chairs from the bedrooms being used as the only chairs at the dining table with one of the dining room chairs from the pictures laying down broken in the cupboard under the stairs (great use to a booking for a family of 5) Dangerously steep step outside the back door Poorly maintained interior & exterior paintwork (pictures show a plastic cable track running down the wall for the tv wire but this was stood against the wall in the corner of the living room and the kick board beneath the oven was stood against the wall in the kitchen? Sharpe edges to the coffee table Holes in hallway flooring Uneven bathroom flooring with a nail curled over sticking out of the laminate. Mould above the shower. No Can opener No cooking spoons No colander

Ligging

Is prima locatie. Keuken accessoires beperkt. Kunt geen maaltijd bereiden. Onderhoud matig, vlekken op muren. Opknappen dan is het een top locatie

The place was well placed, and the staff communicated well regarding check in and any issues etc

The place was dirty. Shower had mould in. Dust and dirt all over the place

it was nice and clean and very spacious

what I didn’t like was that when you booked it thru booking.com it wasn't stated that there was a none refundable deposit of £50 for damage, it was only mentioned when you went on to their Web site via a link that they sent you to register your details.

Location was convenient for visiting family

Very poor refurbishment. Painted over cracks in all walls. Loose and missing floor boards just carpeted over. Moldy and leaking shower. Broken furniture. Dangerous and crumbling path to front door.

As contractors, this house is ideal for us to stay in for work. Good sized rooms, nice kitchen, parking for our van and within easy reach of local supermarkets.

Placement was gave us good access to everything we needed included bus stop at the end of the road to get into the city, warm , comfortable well set out house.

Lots of areas inside that need attention including a large crack inside front door ( kitchen ceiling is closed to plaster falling)mould along bottom of some windows.and a revamp would do well . Dining table and bench are broken, lamps not working in alot of rooms.rubbish all over front garden on arrival which we cleared. Bins full outside.sleeps8 but only 6 large plates, and bowls, 5 forks,7knives and 5 spoons so we couldn't all eat together. Walls in kitchen needed wiping down near bin along with other walls. One of the bedroom windows doesn't lock so can be pushed open easily by children.but mostly clean and dry wouldn't put us off staying again. Would have been nice to know how to park a second car outside with permit etc instead of having topark a few streets away.
