Immaculate and all mod cons.. only improvement suggestion is a TV added to the bedroom. James is the perfect host.. welcoming, professional and full of enthusiasm for his business. I hope it’s a roaring success!!

The property's location is highly desirable, and the accommodation offers a unique character with pleasant views, ideal for enjoying breakfast. The host provided exceptional service, meeting us upon arrival and offering informative assistance throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property and will be staying again when we next visit Durham/Newcastle.

Our host, James, was amazing — super welcoming and very friendly. He couldn’t have done more to ensure everything was in order and that we were comfortable. The location was perfect. Having plenty of private, open space for our dog was a massive selling point for us, and it did not disappoint. There were also plenty of walking routes available, thoughtfully provided by our amazing host. The lodge was fantastic and beautifully decorated, allowing us all to wind down, relax, and enjoy the view.
