Amazing location Clean Brilliant facilities

Nothing - I like it all, but just worth noting it’s a dry hotel if you like a drink in your hotel.

Location

We arrived after midnight, they said the booking was done for 1 person for twin room. They charged us extra 15 dollar.

Located directly on the beach, beautiful rooftop infinity pools and wide selection of foods for breakfast. Just an amazing stay!!

Breakfast was superbly amazing. Indescribable. My family loved everything in the restaurant

Extremely amazing

The staff at Tembo was really great. Attentive to your every need. They booked an excursion for us to the spice farm and prison island cheaper than if i booked online and same price as the freelance guys on the street were offering. But with Tembo the guides were trustworthy. The main building is absolutely beautiful. Right on the beach. Nice 24 hour restaurant. Safe and secure. Prime location. A nice central pool with two very cool infinity pools on the second level. Great view. A lot of beach activities. Nice vibe. I booked the "studio" which was massive. Huge room. Living room area. Full kitchen. Large comfortable bed. Reliable hot water. Rain shower head. While this room was super large and well equipped and reasonably priced it does come with a couple catches. The studio that I booked was bigger and cheaper than the rooms in the main building because its located in the satellite building near Tembo main house. The room is big but it was inconvenient to walk a couple blocks through some alleys to use the facilities of the main building. And its also on the 4th floor with no lift. Up and down 4 flights multiple times a day sucks. If I went back i would still stay at Tembo but I would pay a few extra dollars and get a room in the main building.

Had to walk to the main building to use the facilities. 4 flights of steps to get to the room. The cable / internet connection to the TV was horrible. The TV was basically useless.
