Very clean and good beds!

Gecko was really lovely and helpful. Nice being in nature, however not much in the village

Had a lot of ants - even in the bed. And there were a few bugs

Friendly and helpful host. Gecko is always in a good mood and organize even tours that are more cheaper then in town. He is not stressing you booking a tour like in other places. So its relaxing to talk about it. Also he gives you information what else you can do in Cat Ba without a tour. Rooms are big and hot shower works perfectly. Breakfast is also a fair price and good! If your hungry you can even get Lunch and Dinner. You can also play billiard and you can do boxing Nice garden in the back. Lot of chill out areas Free green tea! Close to Cat Ba Nationalpark and Hospital Cave.

Unfurtnally pool isn't so clean. Smelled a bit :-( Rooms get humid. A mosquito net would be perfect to leave the windows open. Because of that our clothes got a bit wet because of humid. We used the dry mode of air condition.

We loved the place, it was lovely. Geiko is a really nice host. The rooms were good, food was good. He had a blast, I would go back in a heart beat

Really nice homestay, one of the best we stayed at in three months travelling round Vietnam. Gecko and his family are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and plenty of it. Cosy, comfortable and clean accomodation with a swimming pool right outside your door. Only a few minutes walk to Hospital cave and ten minutes by motorbike to Cat Ba town. We had a great time, thank you so much.

The staff was absolutely nice, helpful and available.

Only the beds, too hard but it should not be a reason not to book with this amazing family.
