Máire Toiréasa – cosy refurbished property in the Gaeltacht Quarter

10/10.. great location, the house was spotless and very comfortable. Great communication with the host and also a lot of information about surrounding areas and local taxis number I would highly recommend this house Looking forward to staying here again

Cute townhouse. Host very helpfull, accommadating and quick to respond. Location Great, near a bus stop or 35 min walk to city. Convience shops around corner. Would stay again.

No issue for me, but narrow stairway to bedroom may not suit everyone.

On arrival, the door key was easily located in the lock box and the code has been shared shortly before we arrived. On entering the property, we found a basket full to the brim with snacks and the fridge had complimentary soft drinks available. The two bedrooms were warm, clean and the beds were very comfortable. A nice touch was the provision of a blanket to wrap up in while watching tv. An excellent guide to local amenities was provided and the location made it easy to find and use local public transport. The property is in an excellent location for easy access to the city centre but is also set well away from main roads. In addition the neighbours were very welcoming and took time to provide local information.

The welcome basket was so unexpected. Cathy checking in was such a nice touch. The house was so nice. Everything we needed was there from information on belfast to household essentials and the beds were so comfortable. Would return again for sure.

Beds, snacks, host, kitchen, location, patio, TV, table. Overall, the place was nice.

Numerous clashing room fragrances; horrible for us with respiratory issue and allergies. Shower stall wall and faucets frustratiing, Jersey bedding sheets “pilled” and uncomfortable (I changed them) front room’s shaggy rug a tripping hazard.

Convenient location. Close to City centre and with easy transport links to Belfast and beyond. House was spotless and well equipped with home comforts. Good internet connection strong enough for work purposes if required. Cathy was a good host and went to the trouble to leave a variety of items to allow for tea & toast upon arrival as well as a selection of sweet treats. Ample toiletries provided too if like us you arrive via plane with liquid restrictions No problems arose during our stay but again Cathy checked in midway through to make sure everything was fine. Access instructions provided early and were easy to follow with no onerous expectations at checkout either. We were using flat as a base to go to golf at portrush and public transport links in NI are comparable to London with unlimited use of public transport network across the whole of Northern Ireland for £67 if booked in advance via trans link with plenty of trains to other parts of Northern Ireland as well as an extensive bus network. What we saw of Belfast would suggest it’s a destination in its own right though if you don’t fancy travelling once there and the property is less than 10 mins by bus to all the sights

Wasn’t really anything to dislike. The properly is up and downstairs if mobility is an issue but it wasn’t for us

The location was amazing, not too far from the centre and a quiet neighbourhood.

The house is very confortable and clean as well, the toiletries awesome, and the welcome pack food helps us a lot of.
