Because the customer service was so astonishingly bad, I was unable to stay at the property. After completing the booking , the landlord had additional registration and payment requirements, which were initially unclear to me, and which I therefore only completed a few hours before arrival. When I tried to check in, I made repeated attempts to contact the landlord on the day of arrival, but could not get through. As a result, when I arrived at my planned time, late at night, I had no check-in instructions and ultimately had to pay to stay somewhere else. I finally received an email at 2.30am from the company, advising me that, in spite of having paid over £1000 in advance for my reservation, and having completed their additional registration requirements and paid the required deposit before my arrival, they would mark me as a “no-show”. Their defence was that “all other guests have managed to comply with our requirements”. This may be the case, but telling a paying customer that all issues are due to the customer’s incompetence is not a customer-centric approach. More than a week after my supposed check-in date, I have received no correspondence from the landlord to find out what happened. I have raised a claim with booking.com for my prepayment, as I was unable to stay in the property. I travel regularly and use booking.com as my default for accommodation, and this has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a property owner. I would recommend that this company be avoided, and in fact should not be represented on booking.com.

"Great location and facilities for an overnight stay"

Great location for attending event at the Armouries. Free parking also a plus point.

The mattress on the bed was too soft and dipped in the middle, so quality of sleep suffered as a result.

The balcony

The bed cover was dirty so I left the bed cover in the boiler room with the rest of the dirty blankets and towels
