Entire Cozy Chalet in Bideford Bay Holiday Park

Comfortable clean and as expected for price

Here's a clear, firm, and factual review you could post: Unfortunately, our stay in this chalet was very disappointing due to the poor standard of cleanliness and maintenance. On arrival, we found that we had to thoroughly clean the utensils, cutlery, crockery, and carpets before we felt comfortable using them. We were so put off by the condition of the kitchen equipment that we ended up buying our own mugs, frying pan, and cooking utensils. The fridge freezer was in a very poor state. It was rusty, had only one door shelf (the others were missing), and the remaining shelf was being held in place with Blu Tack. The internal freezer door was also missing, causing food stored in the fridge section to freeze. Cleanliness throughout the chalet was unacceptable. We found chocolate left on top of the fire extinguisher and dirt and rubbish behind the sofa. There was also a very unpleasant smell coming from the water storage cupboard in the bathroom. The second bedroom was particularly uncomfortable. The springs could be felt through one of the single mattresses, and we had to place a duvet over the fitted sheet to make it bearable to sleep on. One of the fitted sheets was also ripped in the corner. Overall, the chalet was not maintained to an acceptable standard and did not provide the clean, comfortable accommodation we expected for our holiday.This version stays professional and factual, which tends to be taken more seriously by holiday parks and future guests.

Czystość. Wszędzie brudno.brudna pościel dziurawy materac brudne tłuste talerze w kuchni.Okropne! To nie jest domek na odpoczynek. To jest ruina! Śmierdzi kanalizacja . Stare materace brudna pościel zapalniczki pod sofa! Zero udogodnień! Zero Internetu telewizor cały czas przerywa! Jak można zapłacić za coś takiego? Masakra! Nigdy więcej tam nie wrócę i nikomu nie polecę!

The bed were comfy and I like the added touch of there being towels, washing up liquid, hand soap, tea coffee and sugar. Parking close by, having a ramp to get in and out for a disabled guest. It was spacious.

The fridge, no door on the freezer, no where to put the milk on the fridge door. No grab handle in shower or anti slip mats.

Great communication, beautiful location, lovely site - well kept, everything we needed on site, accessible to lots of the surrounding areas. We really had a fantastic holiday! Great place for kids and was so thankful to be able to take my pooches.

There were a few areas that weren’t the cleanest inside the chalet, a couple of these things could be because the property had been sat for a while between changeovers - dust and cobwebs (I am a cleaner myself so I know I have higher standards), but it was nothing serious. Whilst we were a little disappointed that we weren’t able to use the facilities on site - entertainment etc we completely understand that they are shut this time of the year so will be back soon!

The chalet itself i a cosy little place, fantastic for a base for our needs

We booked for 4 adults but there was only tableware (cups, plates) available for two people, unless we wanted to at off of plastic picnic ones, so I had to go buy plates and cups so all the adults could have a hot drink( given its January) and eat from proper plates instead of feeling like children
