Hikers Hideaway at The Ship

It was great, very friendly people. Arrival very good. The apartment was very well provided for. The food and drink in the pub is excellent.

the appartment was great,it had everything we needed it was very well equipped and the beds were lovely and comfy and the showers were very good too,the views were amazing and parking was available on site,the food at the Ship pub was excellent and the pub it itself had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere,the hosts were friendly and helpful

as the appartment was over a pub there was obviously some noise at night which was expected but it seemed very loud on the saturday,just a personal preference but the sofa was quite uncomfortable

We were made to feel very welcome by the staff in the Ship Inn, the flat was much larger than we expected and we had a great short stay. Ideal for exploring Coniston

Self catering flat above a pub five minutes walk from Coniston. So four lads in a flat above a pub with parking spaces for four motorbikes what’s not to like . The welcome was very friendly and welcoming nothing appeared to be too much trouble and the staff in the pub were great . The bar had a really good selection of beers and the food was really good. Yes I would go back.
