Hikers Hideaway at The Ship

The location was perfect and the apartment had gone through some recent looking redecoration. The facilities enabled us to cook for ourselves due to an allergy sufferer within our party. Liked being able to keep our bikes just outside our doorway. Can't do that in the city!

Use of air freshener upon arrival was too strong for me, but I think it was used because previous occupant smoked.

Was met by Cecil when arrived. Clean and tidy accommodation with a nice welcome message and a few treats. Very spacious flat with 3 x lads never feeling cramped. Couldn't fault it and would happily stay again. Huw & friends

There is little to dislike, for a small group or family this is perfect with everything you need in the kitchen. So I’m really just picking here by saying the small Single beds are really small and a little noisy during the evening as we are above the bar. But that didn’t bother us really. In a perfect location for tons of walks, we did a The Conistan Man 10 mile circular from the Accommodation and so thankful to get a pint afterwards. The staff are so friendly and even left little treats for my mates birthday, dog towels and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch! A short walk to the village and hopefully we will be back again soon! Perfect location!!!!

The welcome hamper and note were very pleasant touches as was the box of dog towels.
