Excellent choice of food for breakfast.

Door locking system unreliable. Wall light hanging down , basin plug not working. Doors self closing mechanism.very strong, difficult to pull or push open.

"Beautiful location and accessible"

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and amenities are plentifull. Good location for visiting Oxford and the surrounding Cotswolds. Rooms are large and well equipped.

The spa is really busy and couldn't get a booking at all during our 3 day stay. The restaurant is a lovely setting but food isn't great, staff were great and refunded my meal but would suggest eating elsewhere.

"Too hot. Too busy. Not value for money."

Large room

Long check-in. Not enough staff. No AC in room. Was uncomfortably hot. Our bathroom was a bit tatty. Peeling sealant and a filthy extraction fan. Breakfast room not big enough for number of guests. Long wait to get a cup of tea from the machines. Bar closed at midnight….sigh! Not close to what I expected for the price charged.

"Not value for money drinks too expensive"

The location is great picturesque

For the price to room was nothing special there was no fridge in ours even though we upgraded rooms our friends had a room the same with a fridge in. There is no AC had to request a fan as it was just too hot could leave door open to seating area as in ground floor. The milk pots were hot not great bathroom extractor didn’t work so got very steamy in there shower screen leaked in the corner and the shower head position made it so the water sprayed pretty much to the other side of the bath meaning water sprayed on to the floor you could not get out the way safely to soap up due to the bath slope there was mould around the grab handles. The cost of drinks were extortionate 2 pints £14.20. They really need to look at their pricing burger at chips £20 It’s not value for money there is a bar next door at £5 a pint more reasonable And the charger box on the table didn’t work.
