Sunshine Hakuba Ski-to-door by JAMSZ ROYALE

The room was lovely and spacious with a great view of the piste! A gas heater in the room kept it nice and toasty. The breakfasts were delicious and they offered dinners too though we didn't eat there in the evenings. From the property you can literally ski down to the gondola of Tsugaike Ski Resort and after a day snowboarding we were able to ski right to the property which was fantastic! We came by car and were able to park the car there and easily get around to all of the other resorts in Hakuba. one thing to note is that Tsugaike is more of a family resort and as such if you are looking to go out drinking in the evenings there aren't that many places in the area for that sort of activity (though there were a couple of nice restaurants and Izakayas in the area) but that wasn't really an issue for us and the lodge has a communal area where you can buy beer from a vending machine so you can always hang out in the lodge. Overall would highly recommend!

Great property right next to the slopes. Very clean and well maintained with an area for ski equipment in the basement for easy access. Very convenient to have breakfast in the mornings to save time - the food was delicious and varied each day! Would love to come back next time we’re in Japan

Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Such great access to the snow!! The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond. Communication was easy and quick. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The staff can speak fluent English and are very helpful.

間房隔音不錯，完全聽不到其他房間的聲音，讓我以為酒店沒有其他住客； 房間有暖風機，床也算大，有電視，有獨立厠所及浴缸； 早餐也不錯呢。

浴室有提供牙刷牙膏、洗頭水、護髮素及沐浴露，但沒有毛巾； 有小型夾萬在枱面，但卻鎖上打不開，而夾萬沒有釘實在牆上或枱面，而是可以整個搬走呢

Great location to go skiing. The staff is really helpful and flexible. They prepared a great Shabushabu dinner for us, and helped us removing snow around our car when we had to leave and it had been snowing the entire night.

It’s Hakuba and most lodging make use of gasoline heater which tend to have a strong smell and headache inducing for people with migraines. Sunshine Hakuba is not an exception.
