Camp Almanor at Big Springs

Our hosts were warm and very helpful. Our cabin was very, very well equipped. I had even forgotten my coffee, they had a full can of quality coffee. The shower was equipped with quality shampoo and conditioner, as well as shower soap. My daughter and granddaughter and I had a very blessed Mother's Day weekend getaway. Oh and check in couldn't have been easier.

Our studio cottage had absolutely everything you could think of to make us comfortable. It was sparkling clean and nicely arranged. Honestly the double bed was more comfortable to sleep in than my (very) expensive mattress back home; I slept like a rock. Nicest camp host you could ever meet and if I stayed there any longer we probably would have ended up as best friends. My husband and I would have definitely stayed longer if we could.

The shower faucet didn’t seem like there was an actual shower head.

Better than expected. The little cabin was rustic but spotless. Quiet environment overlooking the lake. Could see the stars at night. Patty the property manager went above and beyond to make my stay totally enjoyable. Tom lent a helping hand when my battery died. They refused any kind of gratuity for all the extra things they did for me. Highly recommend the cabins and the staff even more so. If I'm ever in the area that will be the place to stay.

Gravel parking surface could be better for motorcycles. If you're on a street bike be careful entering and exiting.

Sehr gemütlich, ruhig, gepflegt und super tolle Gastgeber, versorgten uns mit Tips und waren sofort zur Stelle als das Gas für den Grill aus war. Eigene kleine Veranda zum Abend ausklingen lassen und Sterne beobachten. Location ist großartig, direkt am See und in 45min im Lassen National Park - viel näher geht nicht, wenn man gepflegt unterkommen will und nicht campt

Die Hütte war schon sehr klein, kein separates Waschbecken im Bad. Eher Camping Feeling, aber absolut okay für 1-2 Nächte.

The bed mattress was slightly old that were in the process of updating.

The little cabin had all you need for a stay for 2 ppl. You could cook basic meal in the kitchenette. Overall cozy vibe. Self check in and checkout.

The floor was dirty. The bunk bed makes it super uncomfortable to sleep in the main bed for 2 ppl as the one sleeping near the wall has no chance of getting out of bed or simply put a glass of water. Also take note there is no access to the lake.

Had everything we needed in a good location
