The sky didn’t work and neither did the heating as it was freezing b

In central Manchester.

The curtains were hanging off, TV wouldnt work, it is advertised like a luxury hotel/apartment but it is in a block of flats. Stinks of drains.

There was a really funny smell I feel like it was coming from the Bathrooms more the one upstairs

Nothing it was a terrible experience

The pictures look nothing like the apartment. It has a cheap finish and it was on of the worst experiences I’ve had on booking.com. As soon as we walked in there was a foul smell, and broken glass all over the floor with alcohol and redbull cans scattered across the apartment. Not to mention white powder on the table! The beds were left in a heap and the toilets unclean, cigarette ash on most surfaces. I called up the host to complain and was repeatedly shut down and told this was a system glitch with the cleaners and they would sort it. My girlfriend was not happy after seeing the amount of mess and lost interest in wanting to stay as you would because no amount of cleaning would undo the image of the apartment being a tip and we didn’t feel comfortable being there. The host was passive aggressive on the phone when we called to complain and ask him to see from our point of view that staying over now just wouldn’t be possible to which he repeatedly had a go at us. I asked for a formal complaints procedure and he simply said “you tell me the problem and I sort it, that’s the procedure”. No professionalism no accountability and they have the audacity to charge a hefty security deposit but when we get there and see it’s basically a tip they were now trying every trick in the book other
