"Incredible, extraordinary staff, and breathtaking views."

9.0

I had the privilege of staying at this hotel in the heart of the dunes, and it was absolutely extraordinary. The mobile tents are incredible—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly designed to combine authenticity with luxury. The activities offered made my stay even more memorable. I went quad biking at sunset, and it was a magical experience. Naim, who was in charge of the quads, was exceptional. He was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and reassured me as I got familiar with the vehicle. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy the adventure with full confidence. The following morning, I went on a camel ride at dawn. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the young man who guided us, but he was amazing—so kind and professional. He took the time to lead us through the dunes and helped us fully appreciate the stunning beauty of the landscape in a serene and authentic atmosphere. This stay in the desert was one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and immersive experience in an exceptional setting.

"Not a real desert experience"

5.0

Breakfast and dinner were good. The location can be easily reached by 4x4 or regular car. The tents are of good size.

The whole experience is not desert-like. It could as well been a hotel, as it is close to the road and not in the desert, but next to the desert. Then the question rises why one would secrifice comfort of a hotel and sleep in tents without the special environment or experience? The desert experience comes from the expensive tours and activities that you can book. But you could as well book them from a hotel. We have been a few times in desert camps, deeper in the desert, that was worth the travel and sleeping in tents. The complete setup is very commercial (selling tours), as you are not really in the desert and can’t even go to the one sand dune next to the camp, as it is all fenced up. The beds are rock hard. No small towels in the bathroom, many mosquitors and some spiders in the tent, dirty glass in the bathroom. I guess for timers in the desert it might seem very nice, but it completely lacks the experience of a desert. The village lights are visible from the camp site. This is how close it is to the village. They could have better just build a hotel at this location and offer tours. Would have made more sense.

"Beautiful stay and experience"

9.0

The stay is very beautiful nestled between Sand dunes and is very accessible with a normal Sedan car. The staffs were very courteous and accommodating, available all the time whenever we needed any help. The food was equally very good, with a great variety of veg and non-veg options to try out. We did the desert night safari activity, the experience was surreal. We spent hours there with no light pollution, stargazing and had Arabic tea, while having wonderful conversation with the local Bedouin

Toiletries like Dental kit was not available and we felt the activities were at an expensive end as we wanted to try out many activities but had to step back and do just one because of the high prices (the activity prices are set by the Omani people and is not under the control of the camp)

"Amazing People!"

9.0

Ok if you want to experience the dessert but still have good civilization comfort, this is your place. I was surprised by the good food (breakfast and dinner included in my experience) Also very good attention by EVERYONE, always willing to help you and solve your inquiries, we did the sunset safari with an amazing guide called Mana! Ask for him!! He knows the secret spot for the sunset!! And believe me the people here is great and beyond!! Also Naim was our guide for the quad bike ride and he is expert in the quad handling ! You must go with him!

The only thing I would improve is the mattresses and pillows, the sleep and recharge is very important specially for travelers who are on adventures every day. Although for some people it might be ok, for me it was too stiff.

The staff were very warm and helpful throughout. Special mention to Zaahir who took us on Sunrise dune bashing, what a sweet and warm guy. Overall a decent experience..would’ve been a little better if the property was in midst the Dunes.
