Coconut Cottage - Hiriketiya Beach

Best accommodation we could have booked. Andy is a very welcoming host and took a lot of time and effort to decorate the place. After having slept in rooms the whole trip, coming home in Coconut Cottage was a relief! The location is amazing as well, we were in the midst of all the shops, restaurants, beach… I’d definitely recommend this place.

Had a small issue with the wifi but Andy resolved it immediately - very responsive and involved host. Very nice!

We didn’t see any other villas anywhere near so close to the beach as the cottage. Our kids loved the little pool in the garden and all the nature. It has a warm outdoor power shower and is decorated nicely inside.

We travelled around Sri Lanka for 6 weeks and stayed at many villas. This was our favourite. Hiriketiya is so chilled and the cottage has the best location, very near to the beach. The beds are great, the AC is great, the garden is cute and the host is so helpful. A really nice simple place.

If you were lucky to be staying here, you were lucky enough! Brilliant host. Brilliant everything! Thank you Andy.

The location was amazing, very close to both beaches. The cottage was great with two comfortable bedrooms and the plunge pool was perfect. Andy was amazing in helping with check in and communication during our stay.

We loved our stay at Coconut Cottage, after staying in guest houses and lodges while we travelled around Sri Lanka it was wonderful to have a gorgeous little cottage to stay in. We loved the location, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and Cafe, restaurants, massage were even closer. I would definitely recommend you stay at Coconut Cottage. Andy was lovely to deal with, always kind and responded quickly to any questions that I had.

Everything was great, except maybe too much chlorine in the pool.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Andy the host is super nice and made us feel welcome right away! The cottage is amazing, spacious, the rooms are great. And the pool, it's the perfect addition to make everything even better! I came with friends, it was my 3rd time in Hiriketiya and I know already that when I come back, this is where I'll stay!
